The Adventure Medical Pocket Survival Pak is the ultimate survival pack. It’s got waterproof paper, waterproof survival instructions, a pencil, duct tape, signal mirror, a compass, a whistle, quick tender and sparker to start a fire, aluminum foil, sterile scalpel, nylon cord, nylon sewing thread, a sewing needle, safety pins, magnifier, fish hook, and more. It’s like a Swiss army knife but cooler and much more practical. My friends and I each keep a pack for emergencies. So far, we haven’t had to use the survival pack but we know one day we will and be happy that we were prepared. The pack reminds me of a exercise we did in high school on how to survive a rescue situation and the most important gear.
