ACK Review: I sent my cousin Erik an ExtraSport Universal Rescuer PFD. Erik happens to be a Whitewater Safety Guide in his spare time in South Carolina. I asked Erik to try it out and give me some feedback as getting product tested in all types of conditions is very helpful. He really liked the feature of the reflective strips on the front and back. They really stand out, especially at night when light is shined on it. Erik told me that he tried out the integrated rescue harness. He threw a rope to another guide on shore and was pulled in from the middle of the river. The vest took all of the weight and pressure and did not pinch him at all. After some real action feedback like that, I plan on using this same vest when I visit Erik in the springtime.
