I added the Yakima Fairing Replacement Pad set to my 44 inch Yakima Fairing. I have had the fairing on my car for the past two years and the rubber on the original pads were all dried out. I was hearing little vibrating sounds when I would drive with my windows down, so I knew it was time to change the pads. I wanted to make sure that my fairing was not going to scratch the paint off my roof. The pads are specifically designed for the feet on the fairing, so noise is gone and my roof is scratch free. What an easy and simple solution.
