Review:

The tape wrinkles on installation, creating rough ridges. It is abrasive to your inner legs when in a resting position. It also chips and nicks easily.

Review:

I love the concept of this product; however, it covers less than two-thirds of the rail. If you paddle only from reach to ankles, or midpoint, it is enough coverage. When I opened the tape I noticed that some small sections (up to one-half inch) had separated from the backing. I was concerned that these sections would not adhere to my rail and that did turn out to be the case and there are several spots that will not stick to the board. I think this is because the tape is fairly thick and it is stored and shipped in such a tight roll. I would rate it five stars if all of the tape actually stuck to the rail.
