I picked up the Shred Ready Standard Halfcut Helmet before taking a trip to Colorado and I never take new equipment on a trip without first testing it but I didn't really have a choice. When I was pulling my gear together I couldn't find my old helmet. I must have left it on the side of a river or something. I grew up in the helmet era where you didn't get on a bike without having a helmet on. I have older friends and my parents tell me that they never wore helmets which seems kinda stupid to me. I'm getting off track here. I tried the Shred Ready Halfcut out and thought it was very comfortable with the H.O.G adjustments it felt like I was wearing a visor instead of a helmet. I used it for the entire weekend and since then and have few complaints sometimes when I want to stretch my neck I get a little pinch but I will take the pinch over cracking the back of my dome open.

This helmet is great! The price is absolutely amazing considering the quality of this product. It fits great and it really comfortable; I love the strap adjustments on this helmet and that it came with size adjustment padding. I also like the storage/carry bag that came with it. 5 stars at an unbeatable price!
