Description: The Shred Ready Super Scrappy Helmet features the H.O.G. retention system which fits behind the nape of your neck for a secure, custom fit. The Shred Ready Super Scrappy is reversible, meaning that it can be worn with the bill in the front or back. The Super Scrappy includes removable ear flaps and interchangeable compression molded closed-cell foam fitting pads that attach via double sided hook and loop fasteners. The Super Scrappy also comes with Shred Ready's Helmet Replacement Program which states: If a helmet's function is compromised by normal use, Shred Ready will exchange it at their cost for a new replacement plus shipping.
ACK Review: The Shred Ready Super Scrappy Helmet had been referred to me several times as a great whitewater helmet by local paddlers. I tried one out last year and was amazed with the fitting system and how snug it got on my head. It feels like one of those new baseball hats with the elastic in the hat to make the fit snug. It's not at all heavy or weighs down my head like some helmets I have had in the past. I did smack my head pretty hard on a submerged rock. While I was fine the helmet tore a little from one of the rivets. Shred Ready replaced the helmet with very little issue and I thought that was very impressive of a company.

| Review: | Just bought this helmet. I have a medium size head and I am sometimes hard to fit. This one size fits all comes with various padding that made it easy to fit to my noggin. by mixing and matching the padding it came out very comfortable and secure. The HOG system is a great system. The fit and finish was better than ones I have seen at sporting good stores and the Helmet arrived in Two days with AK's free shipping.Have not tried the ear covers so I can't comment on these as I only go in warm weather. | ||
