I recently took my 27oz. Klean Kanteen out for a test drive on a climbing trip in Oklahoma. I like the bottle and the fact that it is easy to clean and I like the sport top that is on mine. I learned the hard way that the sport top won't survive nearly as well as the steel bottle when it slipped from my pack and plummeted 30 feet onto the granite slab. The bottle itself was no worse for the wear but the sport top was no longer functional. Next time I'll bring the loop top version which is a bit more substantial - I think it would have survived the fall.

Another high quality product
from Austin Kayak. I would
recommend spending the extra
money to purchase a stainless
steel water bottle as opposed
to the plastic water bottles.
The durability of the
stainless steel is heads and
toes above the plastic when it
comes to water bottles.

Review:
I recently bought two of the sport top versions of this bottle. They are sturdy and fit my cup holders well. I like the sport top, it's easy to drink out of and comes with a nice dust cap. I don't have to squeeze or really draw of the top to get the water to flow. Neat design. Buying two more for xmas presents.
