ACK Review: I purchased a GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Java Press with the intention that I wouldn't need to ever buy another coffee press for my outdoor adventures. After about 5 trips now I'm really impressed with the coffee making abilities of this press. I had problems with the plunger slipping initially but GSI replaced the plunger and I haven't had a problem since. I may have been the cause of the plunger issue since I tried to make tea one day like Bear Gryles does with pine needles and some other odds and ends I came across. I get good coffee and that's what matters.

| Review: | we just did some winter camping with this french press. once we melted some ice for coffee water and got it boiling on the fire, we made perfect coffee that stayed nice and hot in the insulated press. no more filters and cold coffee for us! i hope to enjoy plenty more camping trips with this durable and well made press. thanks! | ||

| Review: | I've used several coffee presses, and like this one the best. I prefer the taste of coffee made using this method, and all presses I've used made excellent coffee. I like this one the best because it's very durable as well. Solid handle, attached at both top and bottom, unlike some, and stainless steel. Use one both at home and in summer cabin. Gave another as a gift, and they love it also. | ||
