After much research my son and
I each decided to buy one. We
wanted a pack small enough to
carry-on an airplane and large
enough for everything we
needed to carry for a 2 week
vacation. The Kelty Redwing
was light enough for us to log
over 16,000 miles on planes,
trains, and by foot without a
single problem, complaint, or
regret plus our packs still
look like they are brand new
despite all they have been
through. The Redwing is a
keeper for both of us and we
cant wait to use them again!

this website had the most
affordable price and really
good coupons too. the bag is
everything i wanted it to be.
I use it at the university of
utah on my bike. I put my
laptop, books,jacket and lunch
in it. it is that big. the
best part about it is it has
great back support so I dont
have a hurt back at night when
I get home.

I ordered this pack for my Get
Back Home Bag as I work about 45
miles from home in the Puget Sound
area and earthquakes, etc. are
likely events. I needed something
lightweight but sturdy for my
potential two day trek home on
foot. This pack far exceeded my
expectations for my needs and Im
extremely happy with my purchase!!
BTW this pack was $26 less on
Kayak than on any other site, and
with free shipping I was very
pleased! Only drawback, is that
the straps and buckles seem a
little lightweight but I expect 48
hours of hard use out of it on
reasonably even terrain and the
benefits of the light weight of
the pack are a good trade off to
this MINOR concern. My husband,
who is an avid pack hunter, liked
it so much that he wants to get
one for each of our four kids for
B.O.Bs. Thanks Kelty and Kayak!

My husband and I each wanted a pack to take to
France this summer. Our goal was to travel as
light as possible. I did some comparison research
on the net and decided on the Kelty Redwing. The
packs held everything we needed and then some. I
had never traveled with a backpack and found this
pack to be comfortable. There are enough "pockets"
for me to organize my things for easy access.
We were meeting our son in France and couldn't wait
for him to see our new packs. It turns out, his
pack is also a Kelty Redwing he purchased a couple
of years ago. It has been used alot and has held up
without any problems. We are very satisfied with
our packs.
