Description: With the Hobie Accessory Leash simply attach the brass clip to any eyelet on the kayak and slip the bungee cord around your expensive reel or other accessory and you never have to worry about losing them to another accident again.
ACK Review: Ever tipped your kayak and had a bunch of stuff fall out. You think you put yourself back together and head down the river only later to discover that you let a rod sink to the bottom of the river. Having an accessory leash on that rod would anchor it to the kayak and you never have to worry.

| Review: | I have a new Freedom Hawk 12, and I might use 1 to 3 different types of paddles, and a stabilizer rod during the same trip. I use the accessory leash to secure the paddles until they are needed and of course when they are needed and after. I will be using the rod straps with my expensive Two Handed Fly rods next week. If I lose one of these rods/reel/line combos, I could buy another kayak with the lost cost. | ||

| Review: | Heavy duty; well made. I will probably order one or two more. Good for securing your Mirage drive to the kayak. We have also used to secure a horn (small compressed air horn for safety). | ||

| Review: | These are great to hold on to your favorite rods or paddle. I have tried others that were cheap and I didn't care for them. This is the best one I have used by far. | ||

| Review: | I bought this as a "safety chain" for my fishing pole. It is a great length for where my rod holder is installed. | ||

| Review: | On the Crack of Dawn (Red, Detachable) Accessory Leash, or leashes in my case, they are GREAT! That is the only way to describe them. I don't think you can find or buy a better rod leash for kayaks! A friend was using these one day on the flats outside of Aransas Pass. I had some that I had bought earlier. I was totally unsatisfied with them because they were difficult to use and not at all what I wanted. I learned this, of course, after I had paid for and used them. I asked where the "RED" leases came from and Justin said, "Austin Canoe and Kayak." As soon as I got home, I checked the website and saw they were here, and they were in stock. I ordered either 10 or 15, can't remember which, and they are all I will use for my rods and other light weight items I leash when on the water. I rated the Crack of Dawn (Red, Detachable) Accessory Leashes a 5, which I hope means the BEST because, for me, that is exactly what they are, bar none. HRE | ||
