Putting the knot inside the handle prevented the handle from snapping together snuggly, so put the knot outside the handle. Works great. Just what I needed to pull the boat using a boat donkey.

The handles were what I needed BUT..... they did not snap together and stay together very well and we already lost the top 1/2 of the back handle. I will probably order another set but not until we have the money.(We're on a fixed income.) Thanks for having them at such a good price, anyway.
