A great functioning pump at a good price. It is easy to use and very dependable. One suggestion would be that it be sold with a snap on tether so that it could be secured to the deck of a kayak and while carried under rigging.

Got to use this right away on a recent expedition off the Mendocino Coast in CA... got swamped by a wave while surf launching, couldnt reach my scupper plugs in my cargo hatch and the pump cleared the water out in under a minute. Easily attaches to a leash and sits behind the seat. A MUST HAVE for anyone on the ocean in a yak.

Excellent pump. Worked great the one time we had to use it to remove water. I did find out that it will not survive a fall from a pickup at 45 MPH. I have been so satisfied with this pump that I immediately ordered a replacement. I highly recommend this pump for kayak use.

This really throws water and is easy to pump. Does everything you could ask. Only down side is that outlet is odd shape and cant easily be connected to hose if needed but it throws water far enough that isnt an issue.

Fantastic pump! Small yet moves large volumes in a very short time with minimal effort. I have given away a pump I had previously purchased from a local shop in favor of this one. I highly recommend this pump for use on kayaks.

Very light, easy to use (doesn't take much torque to get pumping), and tall enough for most kayaks and even a few canoes if you angle the outflow up-and-out well enough. This critter can move some water! You can't tell from the picture, but there's a small plastic loop adjacent to the outflow that you can tie a string through to keep the pump with your boat in case of a capsize (I have used cheap fluorescent-colored trotline for this purpose, and it works well). ACK made getting it quick and trouble-free, as they do with everything.

This pumped really saved me and my brother this past weekend! We both got flipped over a good few times with water filling the kayak. In some cases, me or my brother were not in reach to help the other one lift and drain the boat, so this was the only option and it was amazing! Great design, great pumping power, easy to use and throw to the one in need. Best pump ever used! I would highly recommend this to a fellow boater...

The Harmony High Volume Bilge Pump is a great pump! The low profile spout works great, comes out from under the lashing on my kayak very easily. I have medium/large hands and the foam padding all along the pump make it very easy to grab and grip. I'm very satisfied with this pump especially after researching all other pumps, this one comes out on top. As for moving water from one place to another, it gets the job done!

We already had one of these pumps in one of our kayaks and wanted another one for our second kayak, in the event that we were too far apart from one another when we needed to use it. Safety was our first priority as we were about to kayak in the Florida Keys, for the first time! Much more open water there than we are used to. Happy to report that we had no problems and didn't us our pumps for an emergency. However, these pumps are great for taking out the water we bring into the boats with our water shoes.
