I'm going to have to knock this item down a bit for a variety of reasons. I recieved it this week and am really dissaponted in it. First off the price of the bag, for what you get, just is not reasonable. The bag is basically a fanny pack sized bag that you would get at KMart for less than $30. It does not hold it's form and is very flimsy on the boat. The attaching system attaches it to the boat but not in a secure fashion and when trying to unzipper it you have to use both hands. If this item was $34.95 it might be a practical bag to get, but at it's price range, it simply does not measure up and I truly feel there are better options. If this is a niche' bag that fits a specific size requirement you may not have any other choice but I think ACK has enough variety to find something better in the price range.

Bought 2 for our Sea Tandem. My daughter and I both love them. Keeps energy food and other small items close during races and paddles.

I feel like I finally found the deck bag that suits me. I've been paddling for 30 years and have always use a deck bag. It never has more than my VHF radio, gloves and maybe a neoprene beanie in it. This little bag takes it all and keeps the deck essentially clear. Prefect. Good construction but is not intended to be water proof. Which I don't care about. Anything that needs that should be stored in a dry storage bag in the day hatch.

Just the right size for a day trip to hold the minimal essentials such as camera, sunscreen, GPS and glasses. Just wish it had a double pull zipper.

I just purchased the Turtle Back Deck bag and am very satisfied with it. It is exactly as advertised and serves perfectly for what I was looking for - that is to have a few small items protected and easily available without making my kayak cluttered or top heavy.
