We tried out this tow line on a nice day to become familiar with how to use it. It worked great! It is nice to have the rope hooked to the coaming. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the tow, indicating it may be useful in other than emergency situations as well.

I am an ACA Coastal Kayak instructor. I bring this tow line on long trips where I don't know who may have to tow. I keep it in my day hatch, and easily fasten it around whichever kayak winds up towing. Users always report a pleasant towing experience. It is easy to put on and take off, and the line stows quickly back in the bag. The line is long enough to handle 2-3 foot waves easily. I've had it four years and it holds up well.
