These are pretty good. It can be scary to cut into your kayak when installing these, but they are pretty easy to set up. I took off one star because they didnt come with instructions and I had to call ACK for some advice. Also it would be more helpful if they would suggest an angle to install them so that the rod position is correct depending on if you want it for trolling, or just storage. Overall I like the caps that keep out water and debris and having another place to store a rod or a fishing net is great.

i used this on a scotty flush mount on my yak I had to use a little engineering to get it to work, just a little pushing and pulling, but it fit. The cap is a little lose but still blocks water and that is what I wanted.
