Something Unexpected Occurred...
Customer Rating: 4.3 of 5
Two screw holes and a Velcro strap and it's installed. It holds the
battery up off the hull so there is no need to fuss with a waterproof
box. It is large enough to hold the bigger size batteries. The battery
is held securely and does not bang off the hull. You can take your
battery in and out easily and there is still room to access anything
else you might put in that hatch. For ease of install and not having
to build/buy a waterproof box, it couldn't be better for me.
Battery bag is a very good product easy to install. Using it to hold my
Nikon battery , it only weighs a pound. For my running lights.
This works... but if you're using it in a Propel Slayer, you need to
attach the battery pack to the cover... and it will take a hot knife
and a couple of longer screws to make it happen. I did a hard
install, and had the cables from my fish-finder running on the inside
of the kayak, keeping them off the bottom of the Kayak by using
some pad eye's. From the inside of the kayak there are only a
couple of rivets visible, everything else is hidden... and more
importantly water proof.
Yes, the Native Slayer Interior
Battery Pack fits the Slayer
Propel, but not as easily as
pictured in the Slayer. The
only way I could install it was
to fasten it through the front
storage compartment. This
sets the battery pack further
back and the battery is not as
easy to get to. It works but not
as well as pictured.
