great paddle holder, well made and silent when locking in the paddle
or removing. It is pricey like all Native products but this is worth it.
Works great and locks right in without any drilling etc.
works great a lot better than the "taco" paddle holder
Along with a rod holder or two, the Native Cam-Lok Paddle Holder is
a must when first rigging a Native kayak for fishing. I have three
slayers and each one has a cam-lok paddle holder. The Cam-lok
queitly stows your paddle when you reach your fishing spot and
keeps it within easy reach. They do come with the hardware (native
brand slugs) for attaching to the track.
Pros: Easy installation, Quiet operation, Price (Yes, really!) I have
bought many Native Brand Accessories and when compared those
accessories with price, value and functionality the Cam-Lok is
money well spent.
Cons: When removing the paddle the rubberized locking part does
not always "pop out" completely, so you must manually open it to
get the paddle back in. While it does work with my bent shaft
paddle, it is a little awkward and noisy--the blades or bent shaft
knock against the kayak depending on configuration. I usually take
out a straight shaft paddle for this reason.
One of the best investments i've made in gear! Works great and
easy to install.
Like it after using ,it hold tight .
Simple to install and use.
Functional with multiple
placements possible. Secure
paddle holder that does what
it's supposed to do. Price was
good, and delivery on time.
A little expensive but after a
handful of uses, seems to be
worth the money.
Very nice product. Solidly built,
does what is advertised. Grip
isn't lock-tight, but more than
adequate to keep paddle (or
stakeout pole) secure.
I put this on my Mokai and it's
great. Secures my paddle safely
and makes my paddle ready for
use at any moment. Happy with
Works as expected. Being
adaptable to the groove
mounting system makes these
paddle holders very
customizable. My only
complaint is that they are
expensive, but I find all of the
Native accessories to be so.
