Well made, pricey, and for any vessels it is actually intended for, it
certainly works well. But, it IS NOT a great fit for a Native Propel 10 or
13 as is stated on the website. The reason? The 10 and 13 seats are
fastened under and at the rear by two opposing side bungee hooks,
then a single run of the bungee extends forward on the 10s and 13s
to a Velcro attachment at the center of the forward seat tube to form
a triangle. This under-seat storage device mounts like a saddlebag, in a
manner of speaking, and in doing so it obscures/blocks the attachment
for the bungee system the seat relies on for stability. On other Native
kayaks, there is a bungee anchor mounted on the floor forward of the
seat to complete this "triangle" correctly. Native should modify this
organizer for the popular Propel 10s and 13s. Yes, I kept mine . . . but
I grit my teeth every time I think of how silly the oversight is.
High quality materials. Really help to minimize reaching behind the
seat for key fishing tools, tackle tec. Like most everything Native
Watercraft sells, way overpriced in my opinion.
This is a must if you plan on fishing. All the pockets keep you
organized with everything within reach.
Slayer Propel 13: Works great, assemble when the seat is off the
Kayak. It may just be me, but Native accessories and RAM mounts
both seem to have a couple of things in common.
1: excellent products
2: horrible installation instructions
Once you get it installed, you'll be scratching you head going "I
think that's right" and it probably... actually definitely won't be,
right... but it'll be good enough.
Works well with the slayer seat. Nice fit for all the lures and tools I
need close at hand.
Great for 2 small Plano boxes
and has 4 slots for tools (fish
gripper, pliers) - works great
with seat in high position.
However, a bit rough to get
Plano boxes out of pouch when
seat is in low position
