A really nice paddle for kids; very light, easy to grip and made well. Looks cool, too. My 53 in tall twins each have a 42 inch one and they can paddle well with them for a long time.

I've been paddling for 28 years, mostly whitewater. My parents recently retired and bought a place on the Slate River in Va. I bought the paddle for my son, (7 y/o), and can't wait to get him on the river. It seems to be of very high quality, and I have no doubt it will work well for him.

Review:

Nice paddle. The 48-incher is slightly long for my seven-year-old but it is light and balanced and he handles it easily. He likes that it looks like his dad's. He outgrew the 36-inch model but did not wear it out.
