I HAVE USED IT TWICE IN THE BWCA AND WORKS VERY WELL. NICE AND LIGHTWEIGHT AND CAN ALSO TAKE ON SOME GOOD LICKS FROM THE ROCKS.

Review:

I love this paddle. I just spent a week in the Boundary Water Canoe Area with it. It has a bit more weight to it than my Espresso, but I didn't even notice. Also, the extra bend made for a nice stroke along the canoe. Lastly, the size of the blade made it possible to grab a lot of water at once to really move our canoe along. It came in very handy when we were in windy conditions.

Great quality and craftsmanship. Perfect blade size, weight, and comfortable grip. 54" is just right for me at 5' 8". Aesthetically, I think it would look better without the painted black stripes on the blade.

Very smooth, beautiful paddle that feels very comfortable. Best for flat water paddling.
