Something Unexpected Occurred...
The Hobie T handle is ingenious. You can turn your kayak paddle into a canoe paddle if you have multiple boats. The real exciting use is the ability to carry this with you on all trips and if you break your kayak paddle you can use this to create an emergency paddle.
Customer Rating: 4.7 of 5
Works great, especially in close quarters.
Sturdy, when connected is comfortable and feel like extension of paddle instead of added on piece.
For those times when you just want to kick it "Pocahontas" style, this cool accessory turns a two-blader into one. The other unused half of the paddle still stows easily on the side of the
Sport and Revolution (the only two kayaks I've tested it with). For me the shorter handle gets me a bit of flexibility for use in tight waterways and it only takes seconds to convert back and forth. Even works with some *gasp* non-Hobie paddles. Joe-Bob says two thumbs up.
