ACK Review: I threw my bulky scale away the minute I saw this bad boy. The xtools floating grip and weigh is the perfect on board weight tool for anglers of all skill level. They make great presents as well!

This scale doesn't work! I've caught my share of fish, but I cannot get the scale to work properly. I bring it up to the house and I can get it to operate, but on the boat forget- a-bout-it.

I stopped using this scale shortly after I bought it. Every time I went out fishing I had to read the instructions to get it cleared and setup. Then I found on many occasions to be inaccurate. Not good when fishing tourney's.

I find the scale difficult to initialize, and I don't believe it is accurate at low weights. I weighted a 5 lb bag of flour, and it was close, but I've landed a couple of fish that weighed under when weighed on a known accurate line scale...would be nice if they added a small tape measure, say 36"

Great scale! I had tried one before in a bass tournament and liked the ability to track the weight of the individual fish and have a current total, takes away some guess work but still use a balance beam also on the fish of similar weight.
