| Review: | I bought this paddle so my 6 year old son could learn to paddle with me in our tandem kayak. Because our tandem is pretty wide, I purchased the longer model. The paddle seems great--the grip is very thin and it's nice that the grip area is black so he knows where his hands should be. It seems pretty durable. My only complaint is that it's a little heavier than I thought it would be, but since I bought the longer paddle, I probably shouldn't complain! Nice little paddle and great that he has a chance to learn without banging up Mommy's more expensive paddles! :) | ||

We paddle in the harbor together on a tandem kayak and she paddles right along with me now with no complaints! Awesome paddle at a good price. | ||

I maybe should have got a longer one, but we were out with friends and their 5 year old was struggling with the adult paddle and borrowed ours and had a much better time with it. She was thrilled to receive a paddle that she could easily manage. She was also thrilled with the "cool design" on the blades.When she outgrows this paddle I feel confident that I will replace it with the larger size and give this one to her younger sister. | Review: | If you are in the market, look no further; unless you just want to add cost and frustration to your life. I was a canoe veteran when I bought our yaks. I had not needed new equipment in more than 20 years. I was shocked to see the prices of kayak paddles. We went to several retail/brick and mortar stores before ending up here. One sales-person told us there was no such thing as a kids' paddle. Let me be succint. The price was as good as you will find. The service was outstanding! The paddle is right on the money for my 7 year old girl. There is some water where I would prefer her paddle to my dad sized version. Onward with no trail left behind! | ||
