Easy to install. Measure 3 times; drill once!
(Found that getting an Ultimate 12 kayak
and then adding anchor trolly, rod holders,
etc. is more economical than getting the
Ultimate 12 Angler). The rod holder
mounting attachments on the Angler at the
back of the stern thwart are not very
practical. Better to use a circular drill and
install 2 flush-mounted rod holders.

Nice kit. Easy to install. I think it
needs a couple more guides for
the top line. Other than that a
very nice kit.

Nice piece of kit for the
fishing yak. Worth the price
for the pulleys alone you
couldnt get them at West
Marine for much less. Includes
well nut hardware; you may be
able to use SS nuts/bolts
instead if you can access the
back side. Quality cord,
plenty long. Replaced the
plastic hook/ring with a SS
carabiner, easier to snap
anchor line into rather than
threading it through. Comes
with clear instructions.

Nice Product. However, I
modified it a bit to keep the
line from stretching over
time. I installed a piece of
bungee from one side of the
system to the Kayak using a
Pad-Eyerear of the craft. This
keeps the system tight to the
Kayak.

Excellent product. I have one
anchor trolley installed on
each side of my Ultimate 12.
It is perfect for a drift
chute so I can control the
position of my kayak no matter
what the direction of the wind
is. Perfect for bass and pike
fishing in lakes.

This anchor trolley is a great
concept. It does what it is
suppose to do, and is a great
quality part. There are alot
of ways to build your own, but
this is fast and easy to do,
and it looks good. You can
spend more time on the water!
ACK service is at its best!

This is the only part of my
Ultimate that I can do without. I
put it in, but being trapped in a
boat with a stuck anchor, with
only 6 to 8 inches of
freeboard,,,,I think you get my
point.
As a precaution, anchor trolley's are not recommended for use in moving water.

Best anchor trolley system I've seen or used. Bought one for my wife's kayak. Liked it so much, I bought a second one to replace the trolley kit on my kayak that was installed by the dealer. Native items seem a bit pricey, but well worth the cost in this case.

Excellent product. Easy to Install. Only suggestion would be to incorporate a length of bungee cord between line and ring to keep line tight. Not a big problem for me because I added the bungee myself.

This thing is a lot stronger then I ever thought. I put it to the test by anchoring in river flood current and it held! You may have to tighten and retie the line after it stretches but no biggie. Great product.

I helped a friend of mine install this kit on his Native 14.5 propel. All the parts were present, the problem we had was with the pulleys. Once any kind of tension was placed on the trolley line, the pulleys sounded like a pair of chainsaws. I have this same type of kit installed on my hobie and i can hear this noise with mine but it is very faint. I attribute this noisy operation to either bad bearings in the pulleys or the open design of the native hull. Probably a combination of both. I recently purchased the ultimate 14.5 and I will not be using this kit for my setup.

The trolley system was somewhat easy to install and is made from quality material. My first concern was placing the system so that it didn't interfere with the adapt-a-track. Once installed, I noticed that the rope would ride-up into the well below the adapt-a-track. I fixed this by installing a plastic cable clamp (the type used to secure electrical cables) mid point to clamp the upper rope. One problem I had during install was the the supplied hardware came with two different sized nuts for some reason. I also installed a jam cleat on my kayak to secure the desired scope of anchor line - I can't figure out how it's suppose to work other wise. I can't say I get 100% positioning with the trolley - when the wind blows the yak will move to some degree and nothing can prevent that. Yet I don't regret the purchase. One note to Native - why not include suggested markings on the kayak as where accessories should be placed? And include the cheap cable clamp to keep the trolley rope from riding up. BTW - customer support from ACK is awesome!

It seems to work very well. I mounted a jam cleat on the boat to hold it in position. Without it the ring will always go to the end of the boat. The ring and clip are plastic but they seem to hold things OK.

I purchased this Anchor Trolley system for my Manta Ray 12 after reading a lot of great reviews out there. I love the fact they make plenty of accessories to match my kayak. Installation was easy and it works great. The rollers are pretty quick so I've added a rope stop to my kayak to keep the anchor positioned where I need it, but other then this - it's a nicely designed product.
