| Review: | Does what it claims to. Easy to install or remove. Do not install if you will be going over rocks, it does increase hull vulnerability to abrasion. I just wish they shipped the boat with a storage bag big enough to hold the backbone. | ||||

| Review: | A backbone is absolutely essential, to make your inflatable act more like a hardshell. Helps slice through the water. | ||||

| Review: | Honestly, there's no noticeable difference with the Backbone on flat lake or slow river water. It may be that the biggest benefit is in ripple or white water, which I haven't tried since buying the Backbone. If you are using your inflatable just on flat water, you can probably save your money. | ||||
