The Seals Kayak Cockpit Cover is constructed with medium-weight coated nylon pack cloth to keep the critters out of your kayak during storage. The cover uses bungee style cord to secure it to the cockpit. This cover is not watertight and will allow seepage if water pools on it. For a tighter, watertight fit and for a cover that can be used during transportation, check out the Seals Cockpit Seal.

It was my second purchase of cockpit seal for my 2nd kayak since I really like the one I bought for my 1st kayak. It is just-size and very good material.
Difficult for one person to secure to kayak. Easy with two people.
Used this on a Necky Rip10. Fit great. Nice deal for the price.
I've had the cover about a month. It's easy to put on, has good heavy-duty nylon, and keeps the critters and leaves out. I also appreciate the fact that when the kayak is on the car roof, the cover protects the cockpit and is supposed to improve gas mileage. I had to sew an inside seam that came apart, but that may have resulted from "user-error" when I absentmindedly was trying to fit the cover on from the front of the kayak rather than the back because I wasn't paying attention to my starting point.
