| Review: | I would not recommend this radio for charging a cell phone. This can and will screw up your cell phones software. Having recently gone through Hurricane Sandy without power for a week I was able to really give this radio a good test. I was desperate for anything to charge my cell phone. Unfortunately, this hand cranking for cell phone charging is not only Painful and Time consuming but it caused some problems with my newly purchased HTC ONE X. IT even warns in the directions to be careful of this possibility. I had to resort to charging my phone in the car. So, what do I think you ask...I find this radio to be a bit expensive with the only real plus being solar powered with an alarm clock. After one week I felt i might do just as well with a small flash light and any small battery powered radio. Just my 2 cents. Hope this helped. God Bless...Billy Caputo | ||||
