The Native Watercraft Slayer 12 Kayak is in all reality a Sit On Top version of the popular Ultimate series. The hull is quiet and stable with a little speed tossed in for good measure. The High/Low seat is easy to reposition while on the water and offers additional storage when in the high position. Designed with a clean deck layout the Slayer offers ample room to stand, rig, strip line or simply chill out and enjoy the day. The Slayer comes with cam-lock paddle holders that silently lock on to all paddle shafts. Foot pads have been added to the deck to increased traction and to reduce noise. The center console has been redesigned to open up the deck area. The open bow trunk is perfect for Native fish bags, PFD storage and comes with scuppers for drainage when punching through waves or surf and with Native's groove track mounting rails located on each side from bow to stern customizing the Slayer is a cinch.

One word ------------------- awesome! Tracks well, stable, space efficient, superb seat, quality construction, and fun! Highly recommend this kayak.
The kayak is great was a little disappointed I customer service. Web site says 2 weeks but I did not get it a and no call I had to contact them and was told a couple more weeks. They said pick another color and we will ship it I ordered the color I wanted and don't think that was the right way to handle the delay. They could have sent a paddle, vest, rod holder or something due to the delay but I was told we don't do that. I would have been a happier customer with a little better customer service. 5 stars for. Product 2 for customer service.
great boat a little heavier than i thought but is still fast enough for me. also the boat is stable enough to stand and paddle around for a better point of view.
I've only had it out a couple of times, (winter in VA), I love it. It tracks well and is very stable. It is much faster than my last cheap yak. When the weather turns I'll be out on the Chesapeake Bay. The open bow well is exactly what I wanted. I can't think of anything I need to store inside the boat for a day fishing trip so anything in the bow is easily accessible. The first class seat was what attracted me first. If you sit still (fishing or hunting) for any length of time, it doesn't matter how thick the padding is on a plastic seat, it gets hard, not a problem in the Slayer. You could nap in the seat if you are so inclined. 5 STARS!!
