These lines are designed to maintain their flexibility, strength, and abrasion resistant qualities, ensuring ease of handling whether the line is wet or dry and include a professionally spliced-in nylon anchor thimble. Nylon is the strongest of all ropes in common use. When stretched it has a "memory" for returning to its original length. For this reason, it is best for absorbing shock loads. Nylon lasts 4-5 times longer than natural fibers because it has good abrasion resistance and is not damaged by oil or most chemicals. Nylon has good resistance to ultraviolet deterioration from the sunlight, referred to as "U.V. stability".
