The Bravo BTP 12 High-Pressure Pump is the perfect solution for quickly inflating your raft, cataraft, IK or SUP board. Hook it up to a 12 volt battery and it puts out up to 15 psi air pressure.
Works like a charm, fast quick and easy to use
I am on my 3rd Bravo pump. ACK has always been fantastic with the returns. First one worked 3 inflations of my NRS Czar 6. 2nd one worked 8 inflations. 3 inflations on the 3rd one now. When it works it is utterly fantastic. Show up at the beach in a rental car, it pumps my SUP while I change clothes. I need to have the valve open for it to work in turbine mode. With the valve shut it trips into piston mode right away and takes a long time to fill. So I open valve and turn on pump, wait for a minute of turbine until I hear the piston kick in, then turn off pump. Take off hose, twist valve shut, put hose on again, turn pump on, takes another 5 minutes of piston to fill to 15PSI.
I am using it on a 3.4 meter inflatable boat and it inflates 3 large chambers to 3.5 psi in about 6 minutes. The keel to 4 psi and the floor to 11.0 psi in a couple of minutes. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes and the pump is easily dialed in to shut off at the correct pressue. I use a small wheel chair battery and it looks like it has the capacity for more than 6 times. The pump works much better than I expect, it is real quality. Austin kayak shipped quickly, online store is great.
The pump does what it advertises which is a good thing. I am running it off a free standing 12V battery since my inflatable drift boat sits on a trailer behind my car and the wires from the pump to the car battery are too short to reach the boat. The volume of air to inflate the boat is large ( 9 psi in the side walls and 11 psi in the floor) and the load has not bothered the pump. It gets a little warm but not hot.
