| Review: | I like the Yakima King Joe 3. I have owned three Yakima systems. It seems sturdy and once adjusted to your car it takes just 5 minutes to install on the car. Do be aware that it holds up to 3 bikes and 90 pounds total, so if you have a couple of downhill bikes that weigh 40 plus pounds, you can only take two total. Once o,n the bikes are held on strongly. All you need additionally is a bungee cord to connect one wheel to the other so the front forks don't flop around. Depending on the geometry of your ride it may be more or less difficult to fit. This seems to be true of most racks that hold the bike by the frame as opposed to a tray style that holds the bike by the tires and wheels. If you need a light weight, fast on and fast off sturdy rack, this is it. | ||||
