Small Coiled Kayak Paddle Leash 

A paddle leash is one of the most important investment a kayaker will make. The decision between swimming for your kayak or your paddle is a choice I never want to make. The small coiled paddle leash is constructed well and wears well even in salt water.

A paddle leash is an essential piece of equipment for kayakers and I can’t get much better than the Danuu Paddle Leash. It’s strong, easy to take on and off, and lasts a long time. No matter where my kayak goes, I make sure this product is on my boat at all times. The last thing you want to have happen is your paddle float away leaving you stranded. I have been using this particular leash for about 7 months with really good results. Pros: Even though this leash is coiled, it is easily stretched which gives me a full range of motion and it does not hinder my paddle stroke at all. I have heard there are paddle leashes on the market that will lose their elasticity and then you have to grab the leash and pull the paddle back over to you. The Danuu leash on the other hand does not ever become uncoiled. Once my paddle has been thrown in the water it coils back up bringing the paddle right back up to the boat making it easy for me to reach. One other feature I found to be helpful as well is that the coil is coated in a slick substance that does not allow my hook to get hung up in the leash. Cons: My only improvement that I would make to this leash would be to make a quick release point to make attaching it to the kayak easier; possibly something like a brass clip or carabineer. Other than that, this is a very solid product. Overall : Out of all the leashes I have owned, this by far has been the best. I would give this product 5 out of 5 stars.

Review:	This is my first kayak so I thought this paddle leash would be a safety feature just in case when fishing and grabbing the fishpole when a fish strikes the paddle went slipping away. It's a relief knowing the paddle is secured.

Review:	Coil works great. Attached it forward (on a SOT)-- not too tight, but tight enough to stay out of the way. Had an uncoiled that I attached on side of boat. It tangled a lot and it picked up and splashed water. This is much better.
