For you pickup-driving, multi-sport fanatics, the Yakima DryDock features a Y-frame design that creates a top-of-car system capable of carrying kayaks, canoes and other long loads. I hauled my 2 Ocean torque kayaks rooftop with the Yakima DryDock with hulley rollers, tower with Mako saddles. The problem I encountered was that the kayaks were being supported on the ends of the kayaks not in the middle due to driving a Chevy Silverado extended cab. The kayaks were secure once strapped down including bow and stern straps.
