The ToughStake sand and snow tent stake has finally solved the long time problem of anchoring your Tent, Awning, Sunshade, or whatever in sand and snow. The ToughStake relies on its patented DATS (Deep Anchor Tension System) providing 10x the anchoring strength of other stakes when used in sand and snow. The guy-wire is attached to the base of the stake, and force exerted on the stake is transferred to the ground around it, which maximizes load capability. When you are ready to pick up and go, the ToughStake easily slides right out of the sand or snow. A must for winter or beach camping. | Review: | The tent stake worked great. We set up a tripod awning for some shade at the beach. There were several windy days and it is difficult to get standard tent stakes to hold in the fine sand. These stakes performed great. Never worried once about the shelter blowing over. I saw several that did. This is a super product. | ||||

| Review: | Used them during a recent beach camping trip in light wind conditions and it performed well. It wasnt really stress tested since winds were light the whole time but they held firm for their relatively short length. Pros - lightweight and compact when nested. Cons a little more expensive than the heavier, longer army surplus tent stakes I used at the same time, that appeared to work equally well. | ||||
