Getting your camera pointed in the right direction just got easier with the YakAttack PanFish Camera Pole for Mighty Mount Systems. The PanFish features a split mast design with adjustable friction disks that allow quick and easy horizontal panning. Just grab the foam grip above center mast and rotate. Nothing to loosen, nothing to get loose. Just point and let go. The PanFish was designed for over-the-shoulder video with lightweight cameras. Maximum payload is recommended at 1 lb, including camera and housing. Mighty Mount and Scotty Mount versions available.

I have had the PanFish for about 3 weeks and used it on my last 6 outings. At first, I found the fiction disks very loose causing the camera to spin on its own depending on wind and waves. I could not figure out how to tighten this up, but a quick call to YakAttack and a conversation with John, showed how easy it is to tighten the friction disks to allow any tension you would want. Now it works great. One side note, from my last outing this past Sunday, on the Meramec River just out side of St. Louis. I had my GoPro Session running over my shoulder on the PanFish, and I came across a dead body floating on the river bank. I share this because we we film so much of our live, that I think we need to be responsible with what we have captured. In this situation I called the police, waited for them to arrive, gave my statement, and when i got back to my car promptly deleted the footage. No one needs to see their family member or loved one in this situation. And people need to be responsible enough to not exploit others misfortunes.
This pole works for all my cameras, and the best price is at ACK!
