Versatility is the name of the game these days when it comes to getting the most for your money the Liquid Logic Coupe offers it up in large doses. This one-of-a-kind hybrid design is fun, stable, easy to paddle and is as comfortable on rivers and lakes as it is riding your favorite ocean break. The Coupe is the choice when looking for one sit on top that can and will do it all. The Coupe's hull is whitewater ready with soft edges for easy control and the bow is upswept allowing the Coupe to ride up and over river features as well as staying high and dry when taken in the surf zone. On quiet waters such as lakes and bays the Coupe transforms to a touring sit-on-top with a flick of the lever deploying its spring loaded skeg; a feature not found on any other sit-on-top kayak.

This is my first kayak as I am an amateur. I rented a few different ones to try. I bought this one because when analyzing the features I would need in order to participate in this sport by myself it had all I needed. I love the tag along wheel, very comfortable seat and the paddle holder. As a short woman it was easiest for me to move, load and board by myself. I receive many comments on how nice it is and I have truly enjoyed it so much. With its rounded front it doesnt seem to go through the water as easily as some of the others it is a crossover but it still is perfect for me. What I really want to comment on is the customer service I received from ACK. I live in Illinois and order this online at 2PM on a Tuesday afternoon. I received it at my home before noon on Friday. All questions I had were quickly answered. The shipping company was equally good ESTES and helpful. I am now a loyal customer and will be purposing my accessories from here.
Purchased from ACK and very pleased. I am able to use this kayak in all types of waters from flat, to chop, to rivers. I have been using the Coupe for a somewhat unique circumstance - I live near a large lake with lots of boat traffic. In the afternoons there is a lot of chop and swells - I am able to surf this chop and swells within the 5 mph zone in my Coupe and have a blast doing it. Very stable and very fast have raced friends in sit-in kayaks. Only critique is that it is a bit heavy. The wheel helps but still on the heavy side - only impacts loading and not performance.
