The WindPaddle Scout Sail is the lightest in the family of self-launching and free-standing sails for kayaks, canoes, sit-on-tops, paddle boards and other small watercraft. The Scout Sail is intended for the recreational solo kayak paddler in wind conditions from 4 to 15 knots. Built with a soft batten that holds sail shape but yet is pliable enough that it easily coils and fold on itself for storage. This sail will pull the paddler down wind and is easy enough for kids to handle. The Windpaddle sail deploys in seconds from the deck of the boat and can be controlled with a steering line that allows the paddler to control the sail with paddle in hand. The large center panel window allows for full visability when in use. Windpaddle Sails are universal and can connect to almost any secure point including deck lines, cleats, bungees, pad eyes, or fairleads. | ||||||||||||

| Review: | Finally got to try out the WindPaddle Sail and had a great time with it! Wind was a bit light and iffy, but when it puffed the sail filled and pulled my kayak neatly through the water. It is a blast! Cant wait for some stronger winds. The sail is easy to set up and take down. The directions and videos on the WindPaddle site are super. Id recommend this to any lover of kayaks and sailing. | ||||

| Review: | This is a awesome product, I wish I would of bought it years ago, for using on the lake, After adding some deckcords to my Kayak, I attached this to the front, it is great to use when you get tired and just want to relax. I would recommend everyone buying this product, and ACK shipped it right out to the house in a couple days ! | ||||

| Review: | I used this a couple of times and have been quite happy with the help it gives in getting across the lake without paddling. Some days the wind isn't very strong but I played with it and used it to "troll" for fish and caught several. Ease of dropping and stopping is great and I would recommend to others. | ||||

| Review: | I was given this sail as a gift. I am not a "sailor" and probably would not have purchased a WindPaddle sail on my own, but WOW, what a terrific accessory to have on my boat. It's fun, fast, SAFE and easy to use. Now days I don't leave for a paddle without a life jacket, a pump and now my WindPaddle sail. I actually go out now when it is windy rather than let the wind keep me off the water. We have lots of wind where I live, so that's a good thing, and a terrific accessory to now have on-board. | ||||
