The Leki Lhasa Lite Antishock Trekking Poles are engineered with female adventurers in mind, with a grip designed to fit smaller hands, that has an edge-less outer shape which offers a variety of comfortable, secure gripping options. The Lhasa Lite features a combination of Leki's Speed Lock System which provides for easy adjustment and a twist lock. The Soft Antishock System - Lite (SAS-L) is integrated into the lower shaft of the pole, reducing the packing/swing size by 50 mm. The optimized packing size increases your freedom of movement in trekking or when transporting your poles. The impact energy is absorbed directly into the lower shaft. The ingenious combination of steel spring and soft elastomer provides precise synchronization between spring strength and compression; making trekking with poles more comfortable than ever, further reducing stress on your body joints, muscles and ligaments.

Leki's Lhasa Lite Antishock Hiking Poles are great! They have not collapsed on me, are lite weight and the grip is very comfortable. Another nice feature is the adaptability for a camera. Leki sells the Aergon Photo Adapter for about $20 that installs on the top of a pole. You screw in the adapter allowing you to use the pole as a monopod.
