This is a magnificent kayak. Hobie is known for its mirage drive propulsion system. The paddle-only kayaks (like the Quest) are often overlooked. They shouldn't be. The Quest is a stable and fast fishing machine. I fish mainly small bodies of water and rivers/streams with mine, and it manages my 230 pounds perfectly. Paddles better than any kayak I've owned (8-10), and glides extremely well. Would be nice to add a rudder but why clutter up the simplicity this kayak is. I also have a 2014 Outback but so far, it has only been used once this fishing season. The weight of the Quest makes it easy to carry and transport. Highly recommend.
