They worked great, I use them for my kayaks for outriggers. Some PVC pipe and now I have an awesome set of stabilizers. Good price and delivery.

Shipping was fast and easy, however the white floats were stained and dirty.I think better quality control needs to be put in place.

Used them for canoe stabilizers. 3/4 inch PVC is actually 1.05 inches. I beveled the edge of the pipe, then lubricated the PVC with petroleum jelly. Driving them into the hole with a hammer finshed the job. BTW, ACK was good to deal with as well.

These floats work just fine for Kayak Stabilizers. They gave my Trident 11 Ocean Kayak stability far beyond what I expected for their size. Use two floats on each side of your stabilizers and you will have a very decent support system provided you mount your well built stabilizers with sturdy mounts.

Q: Kind of an off the wall use idea. Would these slip over a 2 piece kayak paddle and make a decent roll assist device similar to a Shaft-Float..??
A: The opening of the hole for this PVC Foam Float is one inch. You will need to measure the diameter of your kayak paddle to see if this could slip over the shaft.
