| Review: | I could not have asked for a better camp pad. My son is an active Boy Scout and we try to never miss a camp out. Most camp pads I considered were not large enough, either too short or too narrow. The Kelty Basecamp came in multiple sizes, which allowed a large one for me and a small one for my son. Also, the felt covering helps to grip the sleeping bag from sliding off. This was the only one I was aware of with this feature. The material and component quality seems higher grade than others as well. | ||||

| Review: | Construction appears to be solid and materials durable. The 2.5 loft feels as good as a nice spring matress. Firmness can be adjusted slightly by manually blowing a little extra air into matress after it has finished self- inflating, or softened by letting a little air out. I found it more comfortable and quieter than any air-matress Ive tried. Set-up is effortless, unfortanetly as with any self-inflating pad it does take some effort to compress and roll-up. | ||||

| Review: | I have used one of these for the past 20 years. I have finally worn the poor thing out. There are some minor improvements to the older model. If previous history is any indication this pad will last longer than I will. | ||||
