I love this trailer! Easy to move around loaded with two kayaks. It is also easy to load the kayaks. I have put lots of miles hauling my two outbacks down to Port Aransas from Belton with no issues. I will say this however; the paint does not hold-up on the fenders. Other than that, it's worth the investment.

Easy to put together, tows great, easy to move around by hand, my only issue is I have but 2500 miles 1 a half trips to Texas (1K miles) and had a blow out, after inspecting the tires the tread was completely gone thats why it gave out. Buy a spare and don't plan on long trips. I now need two tires and a spare. By the way I took the trailer apart on the highway and put the whole thing in my suburban to finish the trip!

Q: Are the bearings sealed so the axle can be submerged? I've heard conflicting reports of this trailer cannot be submerged when launching kayaks.
A: Thanks for your question. It is not recommended for this trailer to be submerged.

Q: Is there any way the Yakima Rack and Roll Safety Pole can be attached to a Trailex Ultra Light Duty Boat Trailer with Leaf Springs - SUT-220-S so that it acts as it is supposed to?
A: Im sure there is a DIY way to do it but there is not a compatible kit since they are two different brands.
