The Alpenlite 2XT from Eureka is their lightest, most compact 2-person, 4season tent. The Alpenlite 2XT offers uncompromising shelter from the elements, plenty of ventilation options, and enough room for two sleepers. It features a strong A-frame design with steep walls that are optimal for shedding snow. The Alpenlite 2XT boasts one door, two roof vents, one rear window as well as four side vents. The patented High/Low door vents from the top and/or bottom which provides even more options for moderating air flow. The attached front dual-zippered vestibule is handy for gear stowage and easy entry/exit, and it features a cold weather PU transparent window to brighten the interior. The 7001-T6 aluminum frame has a specially formulated cold weather shockcord, and the clips and post and grommet corner attachments promise a fast set up when faced with extreme weather conditions. The compact folding frame sections are small enough to fit into bike panniers or inside a backpack. The interior includes 6 pockets, 2 gear loft loops, and 2 flashlight loops.

Purchased this tent for solo hunting trips during late winter deer season. Perfect for one person and gear. Easy to pack and wind tight when vents are zipped. It works well for me.
Tent leaked after 2 days of rain...I'm not sure what caused it...maybe condensation or the fact that it was free standing on a wooden platform. A bit hard to get in with the rain cover in front.
very good a tent!
Beautiful! amazing! Although I have the picture of this tent, but when I received it yesterday,I really love it! The style is very fit for me.This tent is spacious for me and the bag which I put my sleeping bag and everything needed for a sleep.I think 299$ is really proper for such a nice tent(of course if you can buy it with a lower price, you will feel very happy) It is designed for 4 seasons, and I think it can do this.Last night I live in this tent and feel very warm(August,16),Although it is designed for 4 seasons, you can feel very comfortable in summer,it has "window" to make the inside cooler, and if you need to keep warm, you can close it,everything is very easy. It is easy to set up,I even didnot read the notes at the beginning,I Know how to set it up just when I see it. one thing it that, you should pay attention to the ground ,keep away everything that can hurt it,and this is related in the notes too. Just an OK ground is needed. Because I just got it yesterday,no rains and storm happened then, and it is not winter now,so I have no direct information about this.but I think it really a good tent. but a tent is just a tent. You really need a four-seasons sleeping bag and others. Don't expect a tent can do everything. In a word, a five-star I give this nice tent,I really love it .I have put everything-this tent,my sleeping bag and so on in a camp bag.My new life begins!
