The Blakemore Brush Gripper grabs onto branches, small stumps, marsh grass or a group of twigs to help keep your kayak from drifting off your favorite fishing spot. The harder the current or wind pulls against the Blakemore Brush Gripper, the tighter it clamps down. Available in green or silver.
Easiest way to tie off in a hurry. Much more convenient than an anchor and easier to store.
I've tried using other ways to hold my kayak to marsh grass while fishing during tide changes with variable results. This looks like it will work better that the other things I have when spring arrives. The construction is what you would expect for the price, functional not elegant.
Bought this to replace a much older one that I misplaced. Accidentally bought the Green, word of advice...don't. Because of the color application the green "sticks" and unless you check it, it might not be gripping to whatever you attach it to. 3* just because the green doesn't grip without being checked!
I keep it tied on to the kayak and use when needed. Works great when you need an alternative to a standard anchor.
