The 0.6 liter Esbit Water Kettle is just the right size to boil some water quickly for a couple of cups of hot tea on a chilly morning in camp. This lightweight, hard-anodized water kettle fits on most stoves and has a coated, hinged grip on the kettle for easy removal. | ||||||||||

| Review: | I bought this because my cook pot lacked a spout. my cook pot handle would get hot and pouring boiling water into my freeze dried meal bags got a bit dicy at times. I figured I could cook a meal in the kettle if need be anyway. The first time I used this to boil water and make a meal I was hooked. No more hot handle and much less of a risk burning my fingers holding the bag. The control of pouring the water is totally worth it in my opinion. What would I change or add? Well; first, I would graduate the pot. Why just about everything made for backpacking food/water is not graduated is beyond me. Fortunately, my coffee cup is graduated. Secondly, I would make the lid just a bit tighter or notched so it cant fall off so easy. Its not that big of a deal but it sucks to have your cooking items land in the dirt. Even if it is operator error! Good product, my old cook pot is now retired. | ||||
