The Advanced Elements Axis 4-Part Breakdown Kayak Paddle is an ultra-light and a stiff touring paddle that can be broken down into 4 pieces making it easier to store and travel with. Asymmetrical blades and a fiberglass shaft make this a very efficient breakdown paddle as well as very durable. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Review: | First, kudos to ACK for prompt shipping. Arrived just as promised. Regarding the paddle.. :-( I do need a four piece paddle, so I know my choices are limited. This one is heavy! Perhaps I'm spoiled from the carbon fiber paddles I'm used to, but ick. And it clocks in 4 oz, heavier than advertised. The quality is generally fine. However one of the holes is misdrilled and it won't reach the spring- load button lock. So the shaft won't lock and the paddle is useless until I either re-drill the hole or cut back the end of the pole about 3/4". Either way, not what I've experienced with any other paddle. | ||||||||||

| Review: | Who needs a paddle that breaks down into four parts for easy transport? You do! So much easier to store and carry than even two-piece paddles. Never worry about having to borrow a paddle on any trip, just bring yours with you. | ||||

| Review: | This paddle is great. I need a paddle that would breakdown in 4 pieces for easy handling in a back pack during adventure races. This does the trick. It is light, stiff and efficient. The paddle surfaces are large but not unwieldy. The only thing I would have liked to see is the center pieces be exactly the same length. They are slightly different and for me that sometimes makes it a bit harder to pack. Little thing and not a big deal. would highly recommend if you need a paddle to fit in smaller spaces. | ||||
