The Thule Sidearm 594XT Bike Rack gives you maximum frame protection. This upright roof-mounted bike carrier makes contact with only the wheels. SecureHook holds the bike by grabbing the front wheel, and a ratcheting wheel strap quickly secures back wheel to tray so no frame contact is made. Fits Thule rack systems or other round bars. Factory rack compatible with Thule Ride-On Adapter (sold separately).

• Versatile design accommodates bikes with disc brakes, thru-axles and other non-traditional frame designs

• Fits most 20-29 in. wheel diameter bicycles with tires up to 2.6 in. wide

Review: I bought the Thule Sidearm to fit my oversize DH bike. It is easy to set up and fit to the roof rack. The bike is then easily lifted onto the rack and secured in place. I had the car up to 60-70mph with no problems, and it remained secure down some twisty country lanes. Very impressed and pleased with it and the service from Austin Kayaks was excellent.
