ACK Review
The Gone Fishin Kayak seat has been the culmination of kayak anglers across the globe getting together to discuss what would be the best thing for their derrieres while kayak fishing. I first learned of the seat while talking with local guide fishman fil and he was one of the anglers that gave input on the seat. One of his great points was the need for a detachable bag with boxes to carry his lures in it. Most people that do a lot of motor boat fishing will take every lure they have and use 10. While kayak anglers don't have this luxury due to limited space this is a great feature to a kayak seat. 3 tackle boxes allow you to separate topwaters from soft plastics and carry enough for what you'll need in a day without making a mess of your tankwell. The seat itself is very comfortable for a kayak back and I have nothing really to complain about. I do use the rod holders behind me for my net and stake out pole.

ACK Review
The Gone Fishing Kayak Seat has been in my boat for about 4 months now and I don’t think I have ever been in a more comfortable removable seat in all of the time I have been kayaking. The adjustable lumbar support helps my lower back on a long day of paddling and all of the tackle boxes make for easy storage. Now I don’t have to have a milk crate behind my seat at all times to hold my gear. For any kayak fisherman who is looking for a top notch seat to get them through a day on the water, this is the seat that they need to get. Pros: The Gone Fishing Seat’s tall back is one of the best features of this kayak seat, the Gone Fishing Seat’s back comes up almost to the middle of my shoulder blades when I am sitting down on it. This gives me unparalleled back support and lets me enjoy my day on the water with little back pain. The adjustable lumbar support is a nice creature comfort as well in the fact that it can be adjusted for height or it can be totally removed if wanted. The tackle bag on the back of the seat holds three good sized Plano tackle boxes and is perfect for organizing my lures to help keep everything in order. In addition to that, the entire pack can be easily removed from the seat by undoing 4 little buckles that attach the pack to the seat. This is handy when I just want to turn it into a wading pack or if a buddy calls me up and wants to take me on his power boat. Instead of bringing along a tackle duffle bag, I just go unclip the pack off the back of my seat and bring it with me. The seat pad is very comfortable and has plenty of padding to support my thighs all day long without getting a numb sensation though my legs. Seats with much thinner seat pads have irritated me in the past, which is another way this seat sets itself apart from the competition. The rod holders on the seat are fairly stout and have a bungee that can be used to lock either a baitcast reel or spinning reel in its place so that in case I flip my kayak the rods/reels are secured so that I do not lose them. Cons: The seat is a little pricey but when you sit back and really look at all that you get with it, the price isn’t really all that bad. I would like to see a little bigger sheath for my pliers since the one that comes on the seat is a little small for what I have/need. Overall: This is by far the best seat I have ever sat in while in a kayak. For anyone that is into kayak fishing, this is by far the best option to go with when selecting a seat. I give this product 5 out of 5 stars.

Review: Great Seat! There is nothing worse than back pain to ruin a kayak trip. You will have no pain all day long. The high back support is like sitting in your most comfortable chair at the house. The build in pole holders really help keep your poles out of your way. Did I mention fishing equipement storage, because there is plenty. Well worth the price paid for the pleasure, convenience and comfort this seat brings. GET ONE!

Review: Very satisfied with this seat. Very comfortable. The lumbar support helps a lot. Also, the rod holders keep fishing rods, nets or whatever else very handy. And i don't need to bring any other tackle since the packs that come with this hold a lot. The only issue is that it is hard to reach the back ones at times when out on the open water. But this isn't a big deal. You just need to be creative.

Review: This is a great seat, nice high back and very adjustable. Fished for 4 hrs with no fatigue. Lots of storage for my tackle plus a couple of rod holders make it super functional as well.
