The Wenonah Adirondack Canoe was designed for the smaller rivers and lakes like those of the Northeast. Meant for day outings and trips of a night or two, it has medium volume, and paddles very efficiently with a light-to-moderate load.Canoe & Kayak Magazine tested it and said, 'This is one smooth-paddling canoe, and it has excellent final stability.' It's a bit less initially stable, but that's what gains the efficient paddling and glide. If your looking for a straight tracking 16' canoe that's easy to paddle and easy to handle out of the water, the Adirondack fits the bill.
