| The Seattle Sports Solar Charger is a compact solar charger that is a great camp mate! With a USB outbound charger, it's capable of charging most USB-compatible devices, including mp3 players, cameras, and cell phones. Plug in your own cable to charge your GPS and other devices. Contains a built-in 3-function light, has 2 flashlight settings and 1 strobe setting. The exterior has a rubberized coating that gives you a shock-resistant grip. With the flashlight off, 10-15 hours will take the battery to a a full charge, giving you up to 35 hours of flashlight use! Note: Most, but not all, USB compatible devices accept solar charges. The Seattle Sports Solar Charger can handle the load for your charging needs, and keeps you from having to carry multiple sets of backup batteries. The flashlight and strobe functions that are included with the charger will provide you with additional safety equipment without having to add anything else to your pack. I like to listen to books on tape while on most of my camping trip and a little music at night never hurt anyone. To power my mp3 player for multiple nights I need to be able to juice my stuff up. Plus I will carry my bbery with me for just in case emergencies.
